Equality – Equity

Racial Equality vs. Racial Equity…My observation. If the above illustration gives a brief summary of the differences (and Equity is defined and applied differently below than what I am use to), isn’t Racial Equity a bad thing? I am not sure it is good for any Government to accommodate or discriminate one Skin color over or against another. Isn’t that where Apartheid and Racism stem from Politically? We know where that ended up. Just asking because I am not completely sure of the historical contexts.

As Far as Racial Equality goes all men are born equal in dignity as they are all a creation of God and created in his image. I believe Evolution has led to some of our Racism. People should have equal access based upon their ability and their pursuit of happiness. Not upon a Government’s categorizing and setting up access based upon percentages of racial skin color. When the Government does that it is discrimination against someone and accommodation of others based upon skin color and not upon ability and a person’s desire to be productive and responsible.

One more thought. Can this Racial Equity talk be a Socialist / Marxist strategy to implement Economic Equity as defined in the illustration above? I am not so sure that Color of skin is the real issue Liberals (Socialists / Marxists) care about as much as implementing their world view of Social structure (Socialism / Marxism). One step at a time….. Start with redefinition and rewriting history… The frog in the pot illustration. The water is getting hotter and about to kill the frog.
